Beckie’s musical first love was jazz and soul, both classic Sinatra and contemporary artists such as Melody Gardot. Her involvement with other genres came from singing classic pop and rock covers with function band Jonah’s Wail. Beckie then moved into funky jazz and soul, singing lead vocals with local band Groove Agents. Going full disco was a natural next step where her experience lends those classic dance tracks the energy and excitement that promise a great evening of non-stop dancing.
